Getting AROUND St. George's

WALKING TOUR

  • You can catch one of the Island's Pink and Blue buses to travel into St. George's. On the way, you will see the Island as the locals do, and may get the chance to interact with them. Click here to see the local bus schedule.

  • You can catch one of the Island's Fast Ferries to travel into St. George's. On the way, you will see the Island from the water, on a fast and efficient route straight from Hamilton or Dockyard. Click here to see the local bus schedule.

FERRY

  • Learn more about the fascinating history of the World Heritage Town of St. George and its Related Fortifications by taking a tour.  Use our walking tour map to explore the Town on your own or take a guided tour (details below) with an experienced and knowledgeable local guide.

    • You may also take a guided walking tour of the Town, followed by a personal greeting from the Mayor, Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. between November and March.

      There is no charge.

TAXI

  • If you are unfamiliar with Bermuda's roads, and would prefer to use a more private form of transportation, you can catch one of the Island's many taxi's into St. George's. On the way, the driver may share his/her personal knowledge of the sites you encounter, and you will feel as though you are getting a VIP tour of the Island! Click here to see the general Taxi Fares and Rates for the Island. MINI BUS TOUR

  • Mini Bus drivers offer guided sightseeing tours of Bermuda in their mini buses. The minibus has a capacity of 20. The set tours include Eastern Parishes and Western Parishes tours each for 3 hours duration. They also offer personalized tours for private groups. MOPED RENTALS

  • If you are quite familiar with Bermuda's roads, if you feel that you would be comfortable riding a moped, and if you would like to take control of your island travel experience, you can rent an Oleander Cycle.
